EUROPA NOSTRA HERITAGE WALK for Climate and Peace

EUROPA NOSTRA (European Voice of Civil Society committed to Cultural Heritage) invites participants of the DEF 2023 and other interested citizens to join a short morning Heritage Walk for Climate and Peace in the World Heritage Site of Delphi. With this walk, Europa Nostra wishes to mark the start of its 60th Jubilee Year by mobilizing more resolute action for climate and peace in Europe and across the Globe.
Together, we shall walk along the scenic ancient footpath starting in Delphi and ending in Chrisso, as part of the “Delphi Trail” within the framework of the award-winning “Greek Paths of Culture” Programme of ELLINIKI ETAIRIA - Society for the Environment and Cultural Heritage.
Vagonetto is a unique thematic park, where you will have the opportunity to follow the lives of miners and visit a real underground gallery. Experience it!

DELPHI RUN
In antiquity, Delphi was a melting point of ideas, trends and people.
Nowadays, the Delphi Economic Forum revives the ancient spirit, offering the stage for animated dialogue, fruitful exchanges and networking. Yet, one can ignore the unique setting itself.
Τhe Delphi Economic Forum offers participants the opportunity to enjoy a unique morning run along the ancient city – a running tour of the area, led by archaeologist Dr Angeliki Kosmopoulou, a seasoned runner, blogger and former member of the Athens Marathon organizing team. This 45-minute run takes you around the archaeological site and offers an on-the-go introduction to the city-state of Delphi and its legacy to the western world.
