Staša Stojkov

Sustainability leader

IKEA Serbia

Staša Stojkov Rošić leads the sustainability agenda for IKEA Serbia. As Sustainability Leader she works on transforming IKEA operations to a circular business, understanding customer needs for more sustainable life while offering relevant solutions for their home, and supporting the most vulnerable communities by creating safe places they can call home.

An activist at heart, Staša joined IKEA after many years of working and volunteering in the civil society sector in Serbia, Norway and Egypt. She is a strong believer that the path towards more sustainable life is through changing habits and behaviours on individual, business and societal levels. Her educational background is a combination of language and culture studies from the University of Belgrade and sustainable development at the University of Oslo. She believes that it is exactly this multidisciplinary approach in her education that enables her to work on solving complex challenges across different fields.

Staša is an outspoken feminist and climate activist. When she is not checking garbage bins, she is dedicated to creating a more sustainable life for her family including dogs, cats and plants through practicing a plant-based diet, composting, sorting waste or simply enjoying nature.
