Irene Nikolopoulou is a Greek tv journalist & a senior communication consultant .
She has a Masters degree in Law and Political Sciences from the National University of Athens .She dreamed of becoming an interpreter as was fond of foreign languages but ended up in greek television as a newscaster & as an anchorwoman for 30
years.
She traveled abroad to study and work in Oxford, Paris Luxembourg, Nice and London
During her long career in television she got exclusive interviews from political personalities and famous artists: François Mitterrand, Margaret Thatcher, Benazir Bhutto, Yasser Arafat, Lech Walesa, Corazon Aquino, Jacques Chirac, Valery Giscard d’Estaing, Luciano Pavarotti, Tina Turner, Shirley Bassey, Tom Hanks, Antony Quinn, Robert De Niro, Claudia Cardinale, Elisabeth Taylor etc www.enikolopoulou.gr

In 2012 Irene produced and presented a documentary for CNBC : “Greece: An Economic Odyssey’’.
She was the founding President of the European Network for Greek Women Journalists and the French speaking Greek Journalists .
In 1990 she was honoured with the United Nations Journalism Award , in 2000 with the European Prize “Konstantinos Kalligas ’’and in 2001 she was awarded as the ‘’The best Greek newscaster ’’.
Irene created her own holistic communication company in 2001 About Media & has been working as a senior communication consultant ,event manager, media trainer for multinationals or banks such as COCA COLA International, Hellenic Petroleum, Henkel,
FortisBank, Nokia, still collaborating with Credit Agricole & ABN Amro Bank as well as a full time Communication consultant for the German Bank ProCredit Bank Worked as communication manager for ICC Women Hellas and Leto Clinic -
She received several awards for her communication projects -among others a Gold and a Silver Advertising HERMES Award .
