Currently serving as ELVIAL S.A Corporate Communications & ESG Officer, Athina brings 15 years of experience in communications and ESG practices in various organizations and the construction industry. Primarily she focuses on the corporate communication with the main social partners and the Media, while at the same time promotes SDG’s and coordinates the Corporate Sustainability Strategy and CSR campaigns, including regulatory issues with key regional stakeholders (Government, NGOs, supply chain and clients). She is responsible for embedding sustainability and circular economy principles in the company’s strategy and operations in response to climate change, nature-positive operations, and socio-economic shared value creation, promoting the company’s evolving transition toward a sustainable business model. Athina and the ESG team also prepare ELVIAL’s ESG Reporting, bridging the needs and interests of external and internal stakeholders with the company’s deliverables. Athina holds an M.B.A. from the American College of Thessaloniki (A.C.T) in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, a B.A. in International Relations and Business and she is also an Internationally Certified Sustainability (CSR) Practitioner from the Center for Sustainability and Excellence (CSE).
