Since January 2017, Agata has been at the helm of MSD Greece, a leading pharmaceutical company in Greece renowned for its provision of innovative medicines, vaccines and life-saving therapies to patients. Since April 2024, she has assumed the position of Vice-President, Alternate responsible for Scientific Affairs and Clinical Studies.

Agata is a dynamic and results-driven pharmaceutical executive with a proven track record of orchestrating viable organizational strategies. She brings over 20 years of working experience in US companies, having held various international positions across Slovenia, the Balkans, the USA, the Baltic states, Romania, and Greece. Agata is experienced in spearheading successful digital transformations, driving innovation and fostering a culture of agility and adaptability.

During her tenure at MSD, Agata has not only bolstered performance but has also placed society, patients and people at the core of business operations. MSD has witnessed positive enhancements across various areas, with talent development being evolved a lot. The company embraced digital culture and instilled learning journeys. Agata contributed a lot in the cultivation of Diversity and Inclusion principles and strongly supported the implementation of Corporate Sustainability initiatives at MSD. Consequently, MSD has been recognized as Best Place to Work, among the Most Sustainable Companies in Greece and has received numerous awards for its digital presence. Additionally, MSD’ s products have been lauded for their innovation, earning distinctions such as the Prix Galien Greece award.

Agata has also been actively involved in shaping pharmaceutical policy in Greece, serving as President of the Pharma Innovation Forum from June 2020 to May 2023. During her tenure, Agata played a pivotal role in shaping and influencing healthcare policy to ensure optimal patient access to life-saving medicines.

Agata comes from Slovenia and holds a Master of Pharmacy degree from the University of Ljubljana.
