As a leader of the Open Innovation Team of Pfizer’s global Center for Digital Innovation (CDI), Anastasia Matonaki is responsible for the ecosystem management and Open Innovation strategy of CDI, driving synergies and leading collaborative projects with innovation actors, focusing on research and development of novel digital technologies for the health and pharma domain. She drives innovation around Pfizer globally, as well as in the Greek tech ecosystem, by launching R&D projects with universities and research centers, as well as acceleration and collaboration programs for startups, centered around technologies such as AI, ML, GenAI and data analytics. Her past experience includes project management of large ICT and business projects, as well as coordination of innovation and R&D projects across Europe. Before joining Pfizer, she worked in the ICT and management consulting sector in multinational and boutique consultancy firms, delivering projects in Europe, America and Asia. She has technical experience in AI system design, configuration and evaluation and has worked as an ICT engineer for the European Union. Anastasia holds a Master in Electrical and Computer Engineering (M.Eng) from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, as well as a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Macedonia.
