Vivi is a Regional Mandate Manager at the European Investment Fund and is working closely with national and regional partners on the ground to design and implement financial instruments that help SMEs access finance and boost VC / PE ecosystems in EU’s less mature markets, including Greece, Cyprus and Bulgaria. She has also been part of EIF horizontal teams cooperating with EC services on horizontal issues including the Multiannual Financial Frameworks, state aid issues, different European financial programmes such as Structural Funds, the Recovery and Resilience Facility, the InvestEU Programme, etc. Prior to joining the EIF, she worked for more than 14 years in the private and public sectors on European programmes and projects, covering a wide range of initiatives focusing on regional development, EU cohesion, ICT, etc.
She is a member of the National Council for Research, Technology and Innovation (ESETEK) and has served in the past as a BoD member in the Information Society S.A.. She is a certified Project Manager, has a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a bachelor degree in Finance & Accounting.
