Robert W. Peck is a former senior Canadian diplomat who served as Ambassador to the Hellenic Republic, High Commissioner to the Republic of Cyprus and the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria. Earlier he served in Lagos, Berne and Athens. Ambassador Peck held senior roles at Canada's Department of Foreign Affairs (Global Affairs Canada) including as Chief of Protocol of Canada and Press Secretary/Departmental Spokesman to the Minister of Foreign Affairs. On leave from the public service Ambassador Peck was Director of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations at CAE Inc., a technology company deploying software based simulation training.
 
Following a 35 year diplomatic career he  served until 2023 as an Independent (Non-Executive) Director on the board of London-based energy company Energean PLC.  
 
Ambassador Peck is an honorary director of The Hellenic Initiative Canada and on the boards of the Michaëlle Jean Foundation, the Canadian Institute in Greece and the Canadian Institute of Mediterranean Studies. He is a recipient of the "Grand Commander of the Order of the Phoenix" from the Hellenic Republic.
