Charis Psaltis is Professor of Social and Developmental Psychology at the University of Cyprus. He has studied extensively the social psychological aspects of intercommunal relations between Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots in Cyprus and has acted as an expert for the UN and Unficyp, the Council of Europe, and for OSCE in relation to history teaching in Bosnia and Herzegovina and IOM in relation to contact hypothesis on inclusivity promotion interventions. He was the Fieldwork Manager for European Social Survey Round 9 and Fieldwork Manager and National Coordinator of Cyprus for the European Social Survey for Round 10. He is also yhe Coordinator of the Greek Cypriot team of the Greek Turkish Forum
