Valéria Silva is a senior expert in the governance of Artificial Intelligence, specializing in law and policy. In addition to her work as Associate Professor at ESCP Business School, she has contributed to the OECD AI.Policy Observatory on multiple projects in advisory and expert roles. As a member of the Advisory Committee of 4iP Council, her work focuses on intellectual property and innovation. Silva’s interdisciplinary background cuts across international economic law (intellectual property rights, competition policy, international trade law and green finance), political science (global economic governance) and corporate ethics. She holds master’s degrees from Harvard Law School, Panthéon-Sorbonne University and the World Trade Institute;a doctorate from the University of São Paulo;and post-doctorates from Princeton University, the University of Oxford and New York University.
