Jakov Devčić Head of Office of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation Serbia and Montenegro Jakov Devčić has been the head of the representation of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation for Serbia and Montenegro in Belgrade since October 1, 2022. From 2019 till 2022 he was the European coordinator at the office of the deputy chair of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group for Members of the Bundestag Patricia Lips and Katja Leikert. For the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, he was a European Coordinator (2018–2019), advisor to the president of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation Prof. Dr. Hans-Gert Pöttering (2015–2018), and deputy head of the Representation of the Foundation in Kyiv, Ukraine (2013–2015). Jakov Devčić gained further professional experience in the government affairs department of Siemens AG Brussels, at the German Federal Foreign Office - Embassy Budapest, at the Office for Foreign Relations of the CDU Germany and with Manfred Weber MEP, Chairman of the Group of the European People's Party in the European Parliament. Jakov Devčić studied Political Science (Bamberg) and International Politics with a focus on European Studies (Budapest). He speaks German, Serbian, English, French and Ukrainian.
