Philippa Karsera Christodoulides is the spouse of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Chistodoulides. She is a career diplomat and a mother of four girls. She served at the High Commission of the Republic of Cyprus in UK, at the Embassy in Athens and the Permanent Representation of Cyprus in Brussels, during the first Presidency of Cyprus to the Council of the EU. She has also headed the General Secretariat of European Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and served as an adviser to the President on European affairs, EU Sherpa. Philippa Karsera Christodoulides studied Political Science, International and European Affairs at the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences in Athens and War Studies at the Kings College in London. Recently she has obtained an L.L.B. Law Degree from the University of Cyprus. She is fluent in Greek and English.
