Co-founder and Executive Director of CARDET (www.cardet.org), an international non-profit research and development organization based in Cyprus with a strong focus on education and development. He is Professor of Learning Innovations & Policy at the University of Nicosia. He is a member of the informal European Commission expert group for the development of guidelines on high-quality informatics. A lifelong learner, a teacher, researcher, innovator, and social entrepreneur, he led the design and implementation of more than 500 initiatives and projects in more than 40 countries. His team coordinated among others, the development of the Cyprus lifelong learning Strategy 2021-2027, the Strategy for Civic Engagement and Participatory Democracy, and several large-scale initiatives around the globe.
