• Niki Kerameus currently serves as the Minister of Labour and Social Security of the Hellenic Republic. • Previously, she served as Minister of the Interior between 2023 and 2024 and as Minister of Education and Religious Affairs between 2019 and 2023. She has been a Member of Parliament with New Democracy since January 2015. • She is a lawyer with over 15 years of work experience (mainly in international arbitration) and a member of the Athens and New York Bar Associations, having studied in France (Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas, summa cum laude) and the United States (Harvard Law School). • She has been particularly involved in community service through DESMOS, a non-profit foundation of which she is a founding member and first president. She has been awarded for her pro bono legal services to homeless groups in New York City. • She speaks fluently English and French, and has basic knowledge of German.
