Mr. Nikoloski is Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport in the Government of North Macedonia that was elected on 23 June 2024. In his political career Mr. Nikoloski was Member of the Assembly of North Macedonia, he served as the Charimen of the National European Integration Council. Nikoloski was a Vice-President of the European People’s Party group in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), where he also sits on the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights. Also he served as vice president of PACE and first vice-chairperson of the Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy, as well as the Monitoring Committee. Mr. Nikoloski was Rapporteur for Bosnia and Herzogovina in the Monitoring Committee of PACE. Prior to his entry in politics, Mr. Nikoloski was the secretary of FRESTA, a programme led by the Danish Foreign Ministry to promote the NGO community and interethnic dialogue in south-eastern Europe. His main priorities as a Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport are strategical projects such as Fast Railway, building new highways, strengthening the capacities of air traffic, and other infrastructural projects that will connect the country and move the economy forward.
