Mr. Archontakis has more than 25 years of professional experience in the field of Rail Logistics & Freight Forwarding. Started his career in PROODOS SA (later Kuehne+Nagel, Greece) in where he served in various managerial positions till 2012. Afterwards he joined Rail Cargo Austria Group as Managing Director of their local entity Express-Interfracht in Greece. In 2015 he joined DB Schenker South East Europe Head office in Vienna as Regional Director of Rail Logistics responsible for the rail logistics activities of the company for 12 countries. As of April 2020, he has been appointed Managing Director of VTG Rail Logistics in Greece and in Bulgaria.
