Jan De Blauwe is a recognized leader in cyber security, with 20 years of experience as senior executive. Jan joined NVISO in 2021, as Chief Operating Officer and is Managing Director for NVISO Greece since it was established in 2022. Prior to joining NVISO, he was Head of Cyber Security at BNP Paribas Fortis, Belgian’s largest bank. Since 2019, Jan is also the chairman of the Belgian Cyber Security Coalition, Belgian’s primary network of cyber security professionals. Earlier in his career, Jan spent 10 years in the USA at Bell Labs / Lucent Technologies and Ubizen (now part of Verizon Business). Jan holds a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Leuven;a post-graduate degree in Data Analytics from the University of Leuven;and an MBA from New York University. Jan is married, and the proud father of 3 amazing children. He enjoys cycling and hiking in the mountains.
