Omiros Pissarides is the Founding Partner of Ominthia Capital, a highly regarded boutique advisory firm delivering tailored financial services to select clients. With an extensive international career in finance - preceded by early experience in information technology - he has held Partner and C-level roles at leading firms including PricewaterhouseCoopers, regional investment bank AXIA Ventures Group and Nasdaq-listed Intermec Technologies. Omiros has led high-impact strategic initiatives - spanning M&A, divestitures, joint ventures and corporate restructurings - and has structured and executed transactions totaling over €10 billion. He also brings board-level experience, having served as a non-executive director across various organizations with full regulatory approval from both the Central Bank and the Securities and Exchange Commission. He holds a degree in Economics and Accounting and an MBA, and has received various academic awards, including Imperial College’s Joan Woodward memorial prize. Omiros is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, sits on the Cyprus Economy and Competitiveness Council, and writes prolifically on economic developments, with a particular focus on the macroeconomics of developing and underdeveloped nations.
