Chrystalla Socratous is an experienced Advocate and Legal Consultant with a strong academic and professional background. She studied Law at the University of Cyprus and is a registered member of the Cyprus Bar Association. She holds an LL.M. in International Corporate & Commercial Law from King’s College London and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Political Science (International Relations) at the University of Cyprus. She currently holds the position of Advocate-Legal Consultant at the Independent Authority Against Corruption, specializing in anti-corruption, the rule of law, lobbying and international affairs. Her previous work with private sector organizations includes contributing to high-level legal initiatives. In addition to her legal career, Chrystalla is actively engaged in civil society and offers pro bono legal support to non-governmental organizations on various aspects. She is the President of the Pancyprian Movement Equal Rights–Equal Responsibilities, advocating for equal rights and social justice. She was recently elected Assistant Secretary of the Pancyprian Volunteerism Coordinative Council, highlighting her active role in community and volunteer initiatives.
