Rania has over 27 years of professional experience, including positions of high responsibility, across different sectors. She began her career in the oil and gas sector for Texaco. Then she worked for more than 10 years in Corporate and Investment Banking in London and in Athens, for Deutsche Bank, BNP Paribas and Eurobank. Important positions in her later career include: CEO of the National Investment Fund of Greece (Growthfund), Partner at Ernst & Young (EY) in Transaction Advisory Services & EY Energy Sector Leader for SE Europe and Deputy CEO and member of the Board of Public Power Corporation (PPC), the leading listed Greek electric utility. Over the last years, Rania has been senior strategy and financial advisor to large corporates, while she serves as a director in several boards, including ElvalHalcor S.A., Motor Oil S.A. and HEDNO S.A. She is also Chair or member in various board committees, including Audit Committee, Nomination & Remuneration Committee and Sustainability Committee. In the board of HEDNO, Rania was nominated by Macquarie Asset Management. She is Vice-President of the Board of Alba Graduate Business School, member of the Advisory Board of Dianeosis, member of the Leadership Committee of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, co-chair of the Greek Chapter of WomenCorporateDirectors (WCD) - the largest global network of women corporate board directors, and member of the European Network for Women in Leadership. She has a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University and an MBA from City University in London (Bayes Business School).
