Associate Professor at the University of Deusto – Deusto Business School (Spain) and Co-Editor-in-Chief of the academic journal Boletín de Estudios Económicos. He holds a PhD in Economics and Business from the University of Deusto and a Master’s in International Relations from the Catholic University of Leuven. He has been a visiting professor at universities in the Czech Republic, Italy, and Serbia. His research focuses on the impact of demographic change on economic productivity and on business strategy, and he has published internationally recognized book chapters and scientific articles. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Kutxabank (one of the most solvent Spanish banks), serves on the Executive Committee of the Basque Group of the Club of Rome, and is a Marshall Memorial Fellow. His previous professional experience includes senior positions at a leading professional services firm, heading the Economic Office of the Basque Government Presidency, and serving on the Board of Trustees of the BBK Foundation.
