Mr. Theodore Tzouros is Executive General Manager, Chief of Corporate and Investment Banking at Piraeus Bank SA. He is responsible for the design, implementation and overseeing of the Bank's strategy across the entire wholesale segment, including large corporate , SMEs, shipping, structured finance, agricultural banking, transaction banking products and investment banking. He is the chairman of the boards of directors of Piraeus Factoring and Piraeus Leasing. Additionally, he is a member of the Executive Committee of the Bank and various senior committees of the group. Mr. Tzouros with over 20 years' experience, headed the Corporate & Shipping Recovery team at Intrum Hellas, after a successful tenure at Piraeus Bank as General Manager in Corporate Recovery. He also served as Director in the IB team of National Bank of Greece, with key involvement in a number of landmark transactions and privatizations , as well as a senior member in the IB and project finance teams of Eurobank. He started his career in Deloitte UK as a chartered accountant. Mr. Tzouros holds MSc & BSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics. He is also a Fellow Chartered Accountant in the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
