Rena Sakellaridou (www.rs-sparch.gr) studied architecture in Thessaloniki, (Dipl. Arch AUTh), in Vancouver, (MArch UBC), and in London, (Ph.D Bartlett School of Architecture and Planning UCL). She is Emeritus Professor of Architectural Design at the School of Architecture AUTh. She is founding partner of SPARCH Sakellaridou / Papanikolaou Architects. RS SPARCH is her highly acclaimed office in Athens, with buildings such as Agemar and eLement, and with a strong international presence. She has numerous awards, among which: 5 distinctions Heliarch, 4 Mies van der Rohe Award nominations, High Commendation and 2 finalists WAF, 4 Iconic Awards, Commendation AR MIPIM Future Project Awards, arcVision Prize nomination, GIWA 2023 (Design).
