Associate Professor Şevki Kıralp was born in 1986 in Famagusta, Cyprus. He earned his undergraduate degree in Modern Greek Language and Literature at Ankara University, Turkey, and completed his MA and PhD in Politics and International Relations at Keele University, United Kingdom. Since 2014, he has worked in the higher education sector. His academic publications cover the Cyprus Question, political history, nationalism, social media, artificial intelligence, political philosophy, and philosophy of religion. He is married and has one child.
