Michael is Senior Partner at Foster + Partners. His practise as an Architect has focussed on historic buildings and places, conserving them in sensitive yet compelling ways by releasing their potential and enabling a purposeful future. He has worked on many internationally renowned projects, including the British Museum Great Court, Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Dallas Opera and more recently the Bloomberg headquarters in the City of London, which won the prestigious RIBA Stirling Prize in 2018. Michael is an active champion of diversity and inclusion within the architecture profession as a means of building enduring and respectful relationships between different cultures.
