Eftychios is a partner in the Tax Advisory division of PwC Cyprus, Nicosia office, since 2007. He was the TAS (Tax Accounting Services) leader of PwC Cyprus from 2008 until mid-2018 and a Direct Tax partner since 2018. Eftychios has over 20 years of experience in dealing with the tax affairs of international and local clients, including large MNCs and medium sized corporations and groups. Related experience covers a wide range of taxation services, including advisory work on group restructurings, international transactions and tax planning, as well as direct tax compliance work. Eftychios is the head of the Tax Technical Committee of PwC Cyprus which manages complicated tax technical issues and formulates policy on them. He studied at Oxford University in the UK where he acquired a BA and MA in Politics, Philosophy, Economics in 1993. He is also the chairman of the Tax Policy Committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
