Giorgos Panagiotopoulos is Professor in the Department of History-Archaeology and Vice-Rector of the University of Patras. He holds undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Education, postgraduate studies in Health Care Management, and a Doctorate in the field of education and human resource development and training. He has held a number of distinguished administrative and public service positions. Among others, he has served as Regional Director of Education of Western Greece, as Chairman of the Boards of Directors of public sector organizations, and as Deputy Prefect of Ilias. His research interests lie in the areas of management, education, and human resource development. His academic output includes participation in funded research projects, publications in international peer-reviewed journals, authorship of monographs and book chapters, as well as scholarly presentations at international conferences.
