He was born and raised in Pyrgos Ilias. He graduated from the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, the Philosophy School of the University of Ioannina and the Master of Science in European Studies of the Athens University of Economics. He was re-elected Member of Parliament for Ilia in the 2023 elections. He is Secretary of Parliamentary Group of SYRIZA-PROODEFTIKI SYMMACHIA and Head of Education for SYRIZA-P.S. He is an elected member of the Central Committee of SYRIZA-P.S. He has served as Secretary General of the Ministry of Shipping and Insular Policy (2017-2018) and Governor of IKA-ETAM (2015-2016). Since 2003, he has been working as a lawyer, specialized in Labor, Public and Social Security Law. He is married and has 2 children.
