Lukas Bobotis is co-founder of Bobotis + Bobotis Architects Design Office, a renowned architecture practice based in Athens, Greece. The award-winning practice was founded in 2014 with co-founder Theofanis Bobotis. Since the practice’s inception, Lukas Bobotis has pioneered technologically driven innovation across design conceptualization and project supervision, developing and executing prestigious projects across Europe and the Middle East. Advocating a unique design and technical perspective that blends functional sustainability and modern principles, Lukas Bobotis has overseen high impact developments such as the regeneration of Thessaloniki Airport and archaeological museums in Patras, Crete, alongside substantive luxury residential developments that support community culture and urban connection. This contemporary approach to architecture design is consistent and diverse, with a portfolio that also includes luxury hotels, office buildings, and sports facilities as well as shopping malls, retail destinations and yacht designs. Bringing a global and collaborative perspective to design practices has been a foundational part of Lukas’ approach since he first entered architecture. He initially studied at the University of Architecture in Florence, Italy, and consequently transferred to Westminster University in London. After graduating, he worked for esteemed architectural firms in London, including RMJM and Sheppard Robson, as well as in Barcelona at the renowned Enric Miralles-Benedetta Tagliabue studio.
