Andreas Mouzourides has served as the President of the Board of the Cyprus Basketball Federation since 2018, playing a pivotal role in the strategic development of the sport in Cyprus. Under his leadership, the Federation successfully hosted, for the first time in the country’s history, the prestigious FIBA EuroBasket tournament – significantly enhancing Cyprus’ international image in the sports sector. Previously, he held the position of Secretary General of the Federation (2014–2018) and was a member of its Executive Board from 2009 to 2011. From 2008 to 2012, he also served as Secretary General of AEL Limassol Sports Club, where he contributed to strengthening the club’s competitive, organizational, and financial foundations. Professionally, he is active in the real estate sector. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Urban Estate Management from Kingston University in the United Kingdom and is a registered member of the Scientific and Technical Chamber of Cyprus (ETEK), the Cyprus Association of Property Valuers, and the Cyprus Real Estate Agents Registration Council. Since 2018, he has held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing at the Photos Photiades Group —one of Cyprus’ leading and most established business groups, with diversified activities in the field of beverages production and distribution, as well as real estate projects and financial services beverage, and real estate sectors. With a longstanding presence in both the sports and business arenas, Mr. Mouzourides brings a combination of experience, public engagement, leadership skills, and strategic vision, actively contributing to the advancement of Cypriot sports and the country’s business development.
