Neofytos is from Limassol. He studied Electronics Engineering at the Alexandreio Technological Institute (ATEI) of Thessaloniki, Department of Electronics from 2005 to 2007. From 2007 to 2010 I acquired a bachelor degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, from London South Bank University, Faculty of Engineering, Science and the Build Environment and from 2015-2023 he acquired his Master’s degree in International Tourism and Hospitality Management from Cyprus University of Technology, Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management. His master’s thesis subject was Making Limassol a 15-minute city. He is the founder and managing director of nextbike Cy Ltd, a company that provides the Bike Sharing System in Cyprus. He is currently and actively involved in two European projects, metaCCAZE and SUM. The HORIZON-MISS-2023-CIT-01-01 – metaCCAZE - Co-designed smart systems and services for user-centred shared zero-emission mobility of people and freight in urban areas (2Zero, CCAM and Cities’ Mission). This project started on January 2024, with 48 months duration and total budget of €28450737.50. The European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) - Project 101103646 — SUM - HORIZON-CL5-2022-D6-02 Seamless Shared Urban Mobility (SUM). This project’s objective is to transform current mobility networks towards innovative and novel shared mobility systems (NSM) integrated with public transport (PT) in more than 15 European Cities by 2026, reaching 30 by 2030. Intermodality, interconnectivity, sustainability, safety, and resilience are at the core of this innovation. The outcomes of the project offer affordable and reliable solutions considering the needs of all stakeholders such as end users, private companies, public urban authorities. This project started June 2023, with 36 months duration and total budget of € 10760895.00.
