Vasiliki Koutsoukou was born on March 25th, 1977. She holds a BA degree in Political Science and Public Administration, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), and an MSc in Management of Sports Organizations and Enterprises, Peloponnese University, specializing in the development of sports tourism. She has been a permanent civil servant since 2002, her years of expertise in public administration and tourism amounting thus to over 20. Between 2002 and 2008 she worked in the NKUA Directorate of Administrative Personnel. Since 2008 she has worked in the Ministry of Tourism (International Relations Directorate, and Regional Tourism Service of Attica, Department of Control and Inspections of tourism enterprises and professions). From July 2023 to August 2024, she served as Director in the Private Office of the Minister of Tourism, Olga Kefalogianni, one of her responsibilities being the coordination of the Ministry’s strategic initiatives and crisis management. Vasiliki Koutsoukou has excellent knowledge of English and good knowledge of French. She also possesses managerial skills in strategic planning and team management.
