Dr. Alessandro Giovanni Lamonica is Director of the Public Policies Unit at the Anna Lindh Foundation and Adjunct Professor at the Brussels School of Governance (VUB). He specialises in Euro-Mediterranean affairs, public diplomacy, and international governance, with extensive experience in translating research into actionable policies and fostering inter-institutional dialogue. Previously, he held academic and research positions at the University of Siena. He was deputy director of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence in Cultural Relations and Diplomacy and among the organisers of the Siena Cultural Relations Forum. He has published widely on public and cultural diplomacy.
