As a Computer Science graduate from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville - Heise was one of only two females in her program - she has always been driven by a passion for diversity and inclusion. Today, Heise sits on SIUE's Engineering Advisory Board, advocating for diversity in STEM education, particularly for women and minority groups. A Harvard AMP alumna, Heise was recognized as one of the top 25 DOD Executives to watch in 2021 by WashingtonExec.
