Grigoris Avanidis was born in 1973 in Switzerland, where he spent the first ten years of his life before relocating with his family to Drama, Greece. He studied journalism and worked for several years in newspapers, radio, and television stations. Later, he pursued a career in the tourism industry and served as a special advisor to the mayor of Drama. He has been professionally involved in family entertainment and has been active in organizing large-scale themed parks and events for over 20 years. Currently, he is the project manager of Dream Workers, Greece’s leading company in themed park design and implementation, and the communications manager of Kourtidis Group. The portfolio of “Dream Workers” includes significant projects such as: The conceptualization, design, and implementation of Greece’s largest Christmas theme parks, "Oneiroupoli Drama" and "Mill of Elves" in Trikala. Other major themed attractions such as: "Chocolate Factory and Museum" "The Secret Worlds of Eugene Trivizas" "Kri Kri Ice Cream Factory" "Eco Zoo" "Fairy Tales of the World" "The Adventures of Pinocchio" "Frappe Museum" Greece’s two most renowned mythology parks, "Odyssey" and "Hercules – The 12 Labors."
