MAU Architecture

I graduated in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano and began my career at CZA Studio in Milan, later moving to Istanbul to work at “Hakan Kiran Architect,” where I gained valuable experience in the dynamics of rapidly transforming urban contexts. In 2015, I relocated to Albania, collaborating with the M.A.M. Foundation on projects related to architecture, contemporary arts, and cultural initiatives, also contributing to Albania’s participation in the 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale. In 2017, I co-founded MAU Architecture, where I currently serve as CEO and Senior Architect. Since then, the firm has consolidated its presence both in Albania and internationally, with projects ranging from the redevelopment of Fier’s city center and waterfront, to the reconstruction of public schools after the 2019 earthquake, and numerous commissions supported by national governments, the World Bank, and UNDP. Our portfolio includes large-scale initiatives such as the renovation of student dormitories, a network of observation points and landscape enhancement across southern Albania, the development of an agricultural farm in Divjakë, and ongoing projects in Costa Rica, including a major residential complex in Potrero. Alongside my architectural practice, I am also engaged in the strategic development of real estate projects in Albania and Turkey, with a focus on innovative approaches to urban growth, housing, and mixed-use developments. Since 2025, I have been serving as Ambassador of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Albania, promoting institutional, cultural, and business relations between Italy and Albania.
