Evi Vasileiou is from Athens. She studied Civil Engineering at ATEI of Athens Department of Infrastructures. As part of her professional experience, she has worked in various fields of planning and construction in infrastructure projects. From 1999 she works full-time in OASA (Athens Urban Transport Organization) in the Scheduling Department. Since 2020 she has been the head of OASA’s Scheduling Department. She was actively involved in the upgrade and expansion of Hastus Software to include the scheduling of electric buses. She is actively involved in the European project metaCCAZE, a Horizon project supported by the European Commission (HORIZON-MISS-2023-CIT-01-01 – metaCCAZE) which focuses on user-centric, electric, automated and connected mobility and infrastructure in European cities. The project started in January 2024, with 48 months duration and total budget of €28,450,737.50.
