Stergitsa Zamagias-Hill is the Chief Executive Officer of The Hellenic Initiative Australia, a national charity that forms part of a global movement uniting the Greek diaspora in support of Greece’s future. With a career spanning the higher education and arts sectors, she previously served as Director of Alumni and Community Engagement at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, where she led initiatives that strengthened alumni relations and established giving programs supporting disadvantaged students. Stergitsa has also held roles with the Australia Council for the Arts and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. A graduate of the University of Sydney, she is a passionate advocate for for the campaign for the return of the Parthenon Sculptures and serves as Secretary of the Australian Parthenon Committee.
