Pantelis Georgiou is the Mayor of Kourion. He was born in 1982 in Limassol. He is married to Marianna Panayiotou. He studied Civil and Environmental Engineering at Imperial College of London. In December 2016, he was elected as the Mayor of Ipsonas Municipality at the age of 34, becoming the youngest Mayor in the city’s history. He was re-elected as the Mayor of Kourion in June 2024. He is also a board member in Development Agency of Limassol. He is the President of Municipal Waste Management Board of Limassol and he is also a member of the Union of Cyprus Municipalities.
