Christos Makiyama is a technology entrepreneur and strategic advisor with 30 years of experience supporting deep tech ventures in Japan. As Founder and President of Silicon Planet—a boutique venture studio launched in 2001—he has worked with 40+ early-stage startups from the US, EU (incl. Greece), Israel, and Japan across semiconductors, AI, IoT, defense, clean energy, and communications. His track record includes key roles at Paltek (IPO), Helic (Ansys), Think Silicon (Applied Materials) among others. He also serves as Vice-President of the Greek Chamber of Commerce in Japan.
