Alexandra Olaru is a board member of Vodafone Romania since May 2021, as Director of Legal and External Affairs. She plays a strategic role in shaping the company’s legal, regulatory, and public affairs agenda, leading cross-functional efforts to support Romania’s digital and economic transformation. Alexandra is also a strong promotor of innovation and digital education, leveraging Romanian values through emerging artists or organizations. Her day-to-day activity also includes a strategic approach of the Vodafone Foundation’s projects. With over 27 years of experience in public and corporate affairs, human resources and communication, she has been part of executive teams for key international companies in various industries such as Philip Morris Romania, McDonald's Romania, Unilever South Central Europe and Nestlé Romania. In her capacity, she was instrumental in building policy strategies, managing reputational risk and driving further investment in Romania in complex regulatory environments.
