Tomasz Koźluk is the Economic Counsellor to the OECD Chief Economist. In this capacity, he supports the Chief Economist to advance and provide strategic direction to the Economics Department’s work and heads the Chief Economist’s Office, leading a team of economists carrying out work for the G20 and G7, the OECD Economic Outlook and other flagship publications. Previously, Mr. Koźluk held several positions in the OECD Economics Department heading work on structural policies, effects of environmental policies and working on competition, market regulation, fiscal policies, and infrastructure investment. He has (co-)authored academic papers, working papers, Going for Growth publications, G20 & G7 deliverables and Economic Surveys. Before joining the OECD Mr. Koźluk has worked on research projects at the Bank of Finland Institute for Economies in Transition, the European Central Bank, the European Investment Bank, CASE, and the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, EUI. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the European University Institute in Florence, an MA in International Economics from Sussex University and an MA from Warsaw University.
