Lara Barazi-Geroulanou has led Kefalonia Fisheries as its CEO since 1998. Prior to that she worked in investment banking and trading in the US. She is a graduate of Harvard University with a Master’s Degree in International Trade and Finance and of Columbia University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. She serves on the boards of many industry associations both in Greece and in the EU including the Federation of Greek Maricultures and the Hellenic Aquaculture Producers Organization. She is President of the Federation of European Aquaculture Producers, a Member of the Board of the Benaki Museum and the Advisory Boards of the Blue Revolution Fund. She is a frequent speaker on issues of sustainable aquaculture development. She speaks Arabic, English, French and Greek.
