MAITE ALGUACIL is a doctor in Economics from the University Jaume I University. She obtained the title of MSc in Economics and International Economics at the University of Nottingham. She has a Bachelor degree in Economics and a Master's degree in International Trade from the University of Valencia. She is the head of the research group CAMINA (global value chains, migration, innovation and adaptation to climate change). Her most recent research deals with aspects related to migratory movements, the location pattern of multinational firms and global value chains.
