Lenio, a Technical Officer at the WHO Athens Office on Quality of Care and Patient Safety, has worked extensively in public policy for Universal Health Coverage and Pandemic Preparedness and Response at international institutions. She spent four years at Save the Children UK as Head of the Health Policy and Advocacy team and has worked with Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance and Wellcome.
Lenio has a keen interest in community and primary health stemming from her time at Malaria Consortium based in Uganda and conducting policy research at Chatham House.
Lenio has also led large-scale health programmes including a national youth mental health initiative with the Child Mind Institute and mass vaccination campaigns for refugee children, both in Greece. She holds an MSc in Public Health and Development from the LSHTM and a BSc in Psychology from UCL.
