Kavita Patel is the Managing Director of Roche Hellas SA in Greece & Cyprus since June 2024. In her role at Roche Hellas, Kavita is responsible for leading corporate activities of the company in two markets with emphasis on delivering transformative medicines and innovative solutions that create a better tomorrow for patients and families in Greece and Cyprus.
Kavita came to Roche Hellas with over 20 years of pharmaceutical industry experience. She joined Hoffmann-La Roche in 2002, and since then, she has worked in several international roles at the Roche headquarters in Basel, Switzerland, and has also held posts in the US with Genentech – a wholly owned member of the Roche Group. Kavita has extensive experience in enabling access to Roche medicines for patients around the world and leading the lifecycle management from research and development to commercialization for several Roche products. She also has 13 years of experience in US sales, marketing and access and has successfully led various teams by enabling a more empowered and customer-centric way of working.
Kavita holds a PharmD and an MBA from Drake University and has completed her post-doctoral fellowship in Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research at the University of Washington. She is also a member of Roche’s Women Professional Group and the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association.
