Yannis Katsarakis is a financial advisor with more than 20 years of deals advisory and execution experience in Central Eastern Europe. He has advised and led transactions in the entire region with most important ones in Greece, Romania, Serbia, and Poland. He has advised governments on privatizations in different countries as well as corporates, private equity funds, and family offices in investments or exits. He is sector agnostic with energy being a significant focus and with substantive activity in other sectors, from banking / insurance, technology / software, food retail to business services. Prior to Venta Projects, he was with UBS Investment Bank in London and Global Finance in Athens. He started his career in strategy consulting with the Parthenon Group based in Boston, MA. He has graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor degree in Economics and from the Harvard Business School with an MBA.
