Nikos Erinakis [Athens, 1988] is Asst. Professor of Political & Social Philosophy and Philosophy of Culture at the University of Crete, while also teaching at the University of Athens and the Hellenic Open University. He holds a PhD in Philosophy from the Universities of London and Oxford (full IKY scholarship). He studied Economics [AUEB], Philosophy & Literature [Warwick] and Philosophy of Social Sciences [LSE], and is a graduate of the Athens College ('05). He is also Academic Director at the ENA think-tank, was a member of the Board of the Athens and Epidaurus Festival and the Board of the Corfu International Festival, and is a member of the Board of the Hellenic Authors’ Society and the Greek Youth Symphony Orchestra. He has published three books of poetry, a book of philosophy (honoured with the Academy of Athens Award), two books of poems by Georg Trakl and Paul Celan in his translation, and four collective philosophy volumes edited by him. His poems and essays have been published in various international peer- reviewed journals, anthologies, and conference proceedings. He currently teaches and writes extensively on issues related to the philosophy of artificial intelligence and digitality.
