Iliana Tzafolias currently serves as a Research Associate in the Office of Economic & Commercial Affairs at the Embassy of Greece in Washington D.C. Born and raised in the D.C. area, she also teaches Greek at Saint Katherine’s Hellenic Education Center in Falls Church, Virginia. Ms. Tzafolias graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa in 2024 from the College of William & Mary, where she received her Bachelors of Arts in International Relations. She graduated with honors for her undergraduate thesis titled, “Defining Greekness: The Effect of Ethnic Identity on Foreign Policy Opinions.”
