I am a 23-year-old international medical student at Sapienza University of Rome. Raised in a very active Greek community in Brasília, Brazil, I strongly believe that our communities abroad are essential in shaping and sustaining our Greek identity in the diaspora, serving as our bridge to the Homeland. Currently, I volunteer as a traditional dance teacher for the children of the Hellenic community in Rome during the school year, while also supporting initiatives in Brazil and actively participating whenever I return to my city. My background guides both my medical education, as I plan to move to Greece as a doctor, and my ongoing commitment to honouring our Greek heritage, so that together we can keep it alive for many generations to come.
